Although Mr Sammy has visited Pakistan many times, this particular visit is mind-blowing. Daren decided to see Malam Jabba, up the north city of Pakistan, and capture it on camera. He drove himself from Lahore to Malam Jabba and explored different areas and the food of Pakistan during his journey. Sammy stopped at many places and tasted different kinds of food. He stopped in Kalar Kahar, Sawabi, Sawat, and Malam Jabba. I have mentioned his views about Pakistan and its food below.
Daren’s Views about Pakistan:
“I’m enjoying this amazing trip a lot, look at the view, man, look at the mountains and its beauty, its amazing man amazing!” these are Daren Sammy’s words when he stopped at Kalar Kahar. “I’m here in Sawabi. I have to stop taking some of the local culture and fresh Daal with juicy Naan.” He expresses his views in this way. He said while he finally reached Malam Jabba that ‘it is more beautiful than the pictures. Having a beautiful senary from his room’s window, sitting on a sofa, he said ‘I might not be sleeping tonight, look at the view I don’t want to miss any one of them, this sofa going to my bed’. ‘I won’t sleep because I want to see this all night, snow on the top of the mountain, it is amazing’.

He tried many other things, too, from Pakistani culture. Daren said he is from Pakistan and is close to Peshawar, so; he likes the Pashtuns. That is why he wears the traditional Pakistani dress Shalwar Kameez. After having a dress like that, he said that he is Patham, his name is DAREN SUMMY KHAN!
His Views about Pakistani Food:
He liked Pakistani food very much, especially the baktun cuisine. ‘If I know anything about the Pakhtuns, it’s going to be a lot of food; it’s going to be lots of tasty as well’ these are some of its words about Pakistani food. He loves Pakistani food and culture; at one moment, he makes it happen that he wishes he could be with his wife and his family right now.

He first tasted Daal with Naan and chappati from the roadside Dhaba in Sawabi, and he loves that. Daal is a typical food in Pakistani cuisine; its traditional taste and appealing look convince everyone to have it. Then he got traditional Shanwari in the party night at Malam Jabba. Shamwari is one of the main dishes of Pakhtun cuisine. This dish is mainly made with the meat of sheep and rich spices. However, traditional Pakistani jalebi is one of the sweet dishes at that party in which Darean Summy was invited as chief guest. He loved that formal dinner party night and its food as well. He said the taste of all the dishes in unforgettable for me. It stays with me all along with me, and I’m thrilled today that I’m alive to see this!
