However, its appealing colour and delicious taste are made from turmeric powder, cloves, and cinnamon. Chicken pulao is one of the famous and the most delicious pulao. As its name shows that this kind of paleo is made with chicken meat. Many restaurants and desi hotels have chicken pulao on their menus. Not only restaurants but almost every household in the region also have chicken pulao lovers.

 

Beef Pulao:

If you want to taste your buds with aromatic and juicy pulao then you should try Beef pulao. I promise that you will never forget the taste ever. However, this type of pulao is cooked in beef and serve with desi Raita. Desi Raita can be made with chopped fresh mint leaves and green chillies. Pakistani Chicken Pilau Recipe

Pilau rice is the rice cooked in spices and oil stocks. However, there are different types of Pilaurice depending on what you make the masala with. Vegetable pilau rice, beef pilau rice, and chicken pilau rice are some such types of pilau rice recipes.

Ingredients
  • 6 tbsp Cooking Oil
  • 2 medium size Onion
  • Two tbsp Cumin Seeds
  • 2 tbsp ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp Garlic paste
  • 3 Green Chillies (Thinly sliced)
  • 1 tbsp Yogurt
  • 700 g Basmati Rice (washed and soaked for 1 hour)
  • Yogurt for Raita
  • For Chicken
  • 8-10 Chicken leg pieces
  • 1 medium size Tomato
  • 1 medium size Onion
  • 5-6 Garlic Cloves
  • 2 tbsp Coriander Seeds
  • 2-inch Cinnamon Sticks
  • 2 Black Cardamom
  • 4 Green Cardamom
  • 1 tbsp black Peppercorn
  • 4-5 Cloves
  • 1 Large bay Leaf
  • Salt to Taste
Directions
  • Step 1 First make the chicken stock.
  • Step 2 For that put all the ingredients in a large pan and 2 pints of water.
  • Step 3 Boil the chicken for 30 minutes.
  • Step 4 Strain the stock and discard all the remaining solid.
  • Step 5 Then, turn off the heat, remove the chicken and set it aside.
  • Step 6 Now, heat the oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and cook until they turn brown.
  • Step 7 Add ginger and garlic paste and green chillies.
  • Step 8 Add onions and cook until they brown.
  • Step 9 Turn flame to medium level and add stock chicken.
  • Step 10 Cover the pan and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Step 11 Add chicken and cook until golden brown.
  • Step 12 Add yoghurt and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  • Step 13 Add the rice and add water if needed.
  • Step 14 Cover the pan and set it on low heat.
  • Step 15 Cook for 15 minutes and keep checking until all the liquid has been absorbed.
  • Step 16 Dum your pilau for 15 minutes.
  • Step 17 Your Pakistani chicken pilau is ready, serve hot with Raita.
